Q: Is the pool indoors?

A: The pool itself is situated in an enclosure in the backyard. There is an adjacent covered outdoor waiting area for parents.

Q: Is the pool heated?

A: Yes, the pool is heated to 90°F.

Q: How big is the pool?

A: The pool is 38 feet long. It is 3.6 feet deep in the shallow end and 6.6 feet in the deep end.

Q: What filtration system is used in the pool?

A: The water is cleaned with a salt water filtration system that is supplemented with chlorine.

Q: What is the diaper policy?

A: There is a double diaper policy for children who are not potty trained. Children who are recently potty trained should use a reusable diaper to prevent accidents and pool closures.

Q: Can we have private lessons?

A: I only provide group lessons. Aside from formal instruction, children learn from imitating other children in the water.

Q: What is the policy regarding missed lessons?

A: Missed lessons are forfeited. There are no make-up lessons and no refunds or "credits".

Q: What should we bring to the lesson?

A: Swimmers should wear simple streamline suits and bring a towel and goggles. Sun shirts are acceptable but not required, and should also be snug fitting. Baggy swim clothes make learning more difficult. Long hair should be tied back. Goggles can be purchased onsite.

Q: Are swim lessons held in the rain?

A: Yes, the pool is enclosed and lessons proceed when it rains. However, if there is lightning in the vicinity, lessons will be suspended to keep swimmers safe.
